Traveling by road on our Kenya and Tanzania safari is always a fascinating experience as you also see a lot more of the destination and choosing the right mode of transport is of paramount importance.We use 7 seat capacity mini buses and jeeps that are well driven and maintained to high standards. All our transport on the Kenya and Tanzania Safari has open sides or an open hatch roof for 360 degrees view on game drives. Flights (or air) are recommended as a quick and easy way to cover holiday tours for those who cannot drive for more than a few hours for various reasons or have a busy schedule but would like to join in the fun of the adventure on the Kenya and Tanzania safari. We’ll advise you on the best mode of transport for any itinerary you choose.


This safari itinerary covers; Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Tarangire National Park. A dream safari to Kenya and Tanzania’s most popular, exotic and finest wildlife Areas. Explore Maasai Mara Game Reserve and Serengeti National Park; which are termed as the Jewel Parks of Kenya and Tanzania and home to different kinds of African wildlife including the Big Five, Ngorongoro Conservation Area well known for the beautiful scenery, Jumbo Elephants and tree climbing Lions of Tarangire National Park. Experience the rich culture of the Maasai people by visiting one of their villages (Manyatta).


Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

Early morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport then drive along the Great Rift Valley, passing by the extinct volcano of Mount Longonot en route to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving for lunch as well as check in. Relax until 16:00 hours time for evening game drive with a chance to see the Big Five; Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the Leopard; Spot herds of Wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Impala, Maasai Giraffe and other kinds of African wildlife in this fascinating wildlife paradise. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp. Meal plan: (Lunch & Dinner).

Day 2: Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

Spend a whole day viewing wildlife in Maasai Mara Game reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. You have a chance to see the “BIG FIVE”: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Wildebeest, Zebra, Cheetah and Gazelle, and other kinds of African wildlife can also be easily observed. Witness the famous wildebeest (Gnu) and zebra migration from Serengeti (Tanzania) to Maasai Mara (Kenya) between July and September; this movement is one of the wonders of the world. Maasai Mara, jewel park of Kenya is the stomping ground of the Great Migration, where a massive accumulation of 1.5 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebras and 350,000 gazelles stretch their legs over 1,200 miles in an annual race to find enough water and green grass for their survival between July and October. Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Isebania Border >> Serengeti National Park.

Early morning breakfast and then drive across the Mara on the way to Serengeti National park through Isebania border town; having your lunch( Lunch Box) on the way. Start game drive on the way to the lodge arriving in time for dinner. Overnight at lodge /camp. Meal plan: (Full board).

Day 4: Serengeti National Park.

Spend the whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. Dinner and overnight at lodge /camp. Meal plan: (Full board).

Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving for early lunch. Descend to the floor of the crater (13.00 Hrs) for game viewing in this unique park. Observe: Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo and Hippo. Dinner and overnight at lodge /camp. Meal plan: (Full board).

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park.

Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park via Lake Manyara observation Point arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. The afternoon game drive gives you a chance to see different kinds of wildlife including Jumbo Elephants of Tarangire. Dinner and overnight at lodge /camp. Meal plan: (Full board).

Day 7: Tarangire National Park - Arusha or Airport

Early morning game drives before breakfast then drive to Arusha for lunch. Later drop off at Arusha airport or your respective hotel in Arusha. Meal plan: (Breakfast & Lunch).

Itinerary Excludes:
International air transport.
Visa fees (currently US$50 per passport holder for Kenya. Tanzania visa fee ranges from US$50 to US$200 depending on the nationality).
International departure tax of US$40 per person in Kenya and US$30 in Tanzania unless included in international air ticket.
Travel insurance.
Tips to hotel/lodge staff (budget approximately US$2 – US$4 per person per day),
Gratuity to tour driver/guide (Guideline US$5 upwards to 10$ per person per day.
All items of a personal nature such as laundry and drinks.
Extras such as Maasai village fees, Boat ride, Nature walk, tips etc.
NOTE: Prices only apply if a safari takes place and is completed within the specified price periods. Specific prices will be provided for any safaris or services that extend into next price period.
Safari is for a minimum of 2 people, Solo Traveler, Solo Traveler with 1 or 2 Child/Children has to request for price/availability.
