But you must be prepared to get a bit dusty while bumping along unpaved roads and rugged terrain.

Lake Nakuru, a Rift Valley soda lake, lies in the southern region of Nakuru. It is under the protection of Lake Nakuru National Park. So well maintained, it is a major tourist attraction of Kenya. It is also known as a birdwatcher’s paradise as you will find hundreds of Flamingoes and white Pelicans here. Large numbers come to the place because of the abundance of algae in the lake. Other beautiful birds, warthogs, white rhinos and baboons, zebra and many other African wildlife can also be seen near the lake. If you are fortunate enough then you might spot the Black Rhino and the big cats.
